Welcome to my website! I have been practicing law since 1995. Most of my career has been focused on business and corporate law. There are a lot of sub-components to those two broad categories, and you can look at that list below if you want to. Various parts of it are also posted on several other places on this site.

The main thing you should get out of this part of my website is that if you have a business that needs legal help, then I can probably help you. There is no charge for talking to me to see if I can help you. If I can not help you, then I am happy to try to find you a lawyer who can help you, as I know a decent number of other attorneys who specialize in various areas of law. I do not charge for that either.

Here is a long, but not exclusive, list of things that I have experience with: business combinations, business strategy, buying and selling businesses of all sizes, buy-sell agreements, commercial law, commercial transactions, corporation formation, corporate governance, employment agreements, equity swap agreements, executive compensation, LLC formation, mergers and acquisitions, private and public securities offerings and transactions, public company disclosure, proxy solicitations, Securities law and SEC filings and registration. I have taken companies public, and I have taken companies private. In the course of my career, I have worked for plaintiffs and defendants on private litigation, civil rights litigation, class action litigation, collections, commercial litigation, insurance defense litigation, automobile accident cases and even some domestic relations matters. Although I do not consider myself to be a "trial lawyer," I have plenty of experience with contract disagreements, dispute resolution and basic litigation matters. For more complex litigation, I have good relationships with several litigation shops (on both the plaintiff and defense side of the bar), and I can call on their expertise or even associate them if need be. My approach to being a lawyer generally involves trying to treat everyone fairly and honestly. I try to be as responsive as possible and as up front as possible with my clients. I am not a tax lawyer.
